Dear friends of Vision St. Charles County Leadership –
It is with heavy hearts we announce the postponement of the 2020-21 program year.
The board of directors came to this decision upon learning an individual who attended the Aug. 6th opening reception tested positive for Covid-19. With careful consideration to the health and safety of everyone involved in our program days, we determined the current climate is not conducive to providing the one-of-a-kind experience that Vision Leadership has delivered to more than 500 area professionals over the past 21 years. We felt postponement was the only responsible action.
Vision Leadership will continue functioning in a limited capacity and will be providing monthly leadership training events for this year’s class members. We will work toward resuming the program when it can be done as safely as possible and in a manner that reflects the high standards of our Mission Statement. This is what our program participants expect and deserve.
Until then, we implore our community to heed the advice of our medical professionals so we can get back to doing the things we love. Wear a mask, use good hand hygiene, practice social distancing, avoid large gatherings and frequently clean high-touch surfaces.
