VISION PROGRAM ANNOUNCES CLASS OF 2015

The Vision St. Charles County Leadership Board of Directors recently approved the class roster for its 2015 program. The 2014-2015 Program year began with an Opening Reception on Thursday, August 7, at Sts. Joachim and Ann Care Service’s Celebration Room. Vision Alumni and Board Members were in attendance and welcomed the new class by giving them a program overview, schedule for the year and ended the evening with a networking session. Vision St. Charles County Leadership held their graduation ceremony for the class of 2014 on Monday, March 31, 2014 at Bemo’s located in Cottleville, Missouri. Alumni, business leaders and class graduates honored the 2014 Visionary of the Year, Nancy Cope with Habitat Humanity St. Charles County, the 2014 Mentor of the Year award to Rich Metz with Commerce Bank, and inducted the Class of 2014 into the alumni association.

Vision St. Charles County Leadership is currently accepting applications for the Class of 2015. Vision’s mission is to educate community and business leaders by providing experiences that will increase awareness, develop leadership skills and motivate participants to be actively engaged in St. Charles County. The Vision St. Charles County Leadership program works to: Inform leaders about the challenges and opportunities facing our state and to encourage solutions and collaboration. Inspire leaders to become active in organization, community, or statewide efforts that make Missouri a better place to work and live. Challenge leaders to increase their awareness about themselves and their state and to maximize their leadership potential. Provide an opportunity to network with a variety of individuals to strengthen personal and organizational clout.

The class meets one day a month from August 2014 to March 2015 with the exception of a two day retreat in August and a two day trip to Jefferson City in February. Some of the topics covered include civic leadership, economic development, education and health care. Applicants for the program must have the support and commitment of their business or organization. Every March applications of emerging and established leaders are sought from all segments of the community. Individuals representing a broad community spectrum will be accepted as members of the Vision St. Charles County Leadership program. Applications are available on the Vision website at www.visionleadership.org and are due by May 31, 2014.

Vision St. Charles County Leadership held their graduation ceremony for the class of 2013 on Thursday, March 28, 2013 at the St. Charles City-County Library – Spencer Road Branch. Alumni, business leaders and class graduates honored the 2013 Visionary of the Year, Barb Griffith (Community Living Inc.) and inducted the Class of 2013 into the alumni association. Included in the celebration was presenting the 2013 Mentor of the Year award to Mark Hollander (UMB Bank).

CONNECTIONS TO SUCCESS HOLIDAY EXTRAVAGANZA Santa Claus, the Muny Kids, Karaoke and more…

From 11:00am-2:00pm on Saturday, December 10th, 2011, Connections to Success will host a holiday party for all of its St. Charles and St. Louis program participants and their families. The holiday party will be held at Connections to Success in St. Charles, located at 1701 North 2nd Street, St. Charles, MO 63301.

Approximately 500 guests are expected, 300 of which are youth
